Puncture Needle Roughness: The roughness of the puncture surface determines the influence of the axial mechanics of the puncture. The roughness of the puncture is generally within Ra0.4, which means that the roughness determines the puncture force. In addition, to eliminate the influence of roughness, a silicone oil coating is added to the puncture surface when grinding the needle blade to reduce the puncture resistance through lubricity.
Material Strength of the Puncture: In addition to the angle and roughness of the puncture needle, the material strength of the puncture needle is also critical to the instability of the puncture force. The material strength of the puncture needle is a key factor in ensuring the continuous operation of the puncture needle and the stability of the puncture force. When designing puncture needles, we need to consider the use scenarios, whether it is long-distance puncture or short-distance puncture, hard tissue puncture or soft tissue puncture, and we also need to consider the force point of the puncture. Therefore, the choice of puncture body material determines the optimisation of the puncture product function.
